I don't think it would take long at all for you to learn some things that would allow you to create killer design from scratch. The basic blocks are HTML and CSS. P.S. I'm still waiting on some of those terrific photos you took during the school year to be posted on Flickr. So I'll testify to you being too busy to get other things done.
