Intuit To Acquire Mint For $170 Million – Tech Crunch:
Intuit will acquire the free online personal finance service Mint, we’ve confirmed from a source close to the deal, for around $170 million. The deal should be announced in the next few days.
This is excellent news. With the muscle and funding of Intuit, Mint can push further than it already has. I’m still waiting for Mint to support my small, local bank, while Quicken has had support all along.
